Haiti - Army : 140 FAd'H soldiers return from Mexico (video)

On Saturday, September 20, 2025, on the tarmac of Toussaint Louverture International Airport, Laurent Saint-Cyr, President pro tempore of the Transitional Council, Councilor-President Leslie Voltaire, Prime Minister Alix Didier Fils-Aimé, and several members of the Government, including the Mexican Ambassador to Haiti, José de Jesús Cisneros Chávez, the Acting Director General of the Haitian National Police (PNH), André Jonas Vladimir Paraison, the Assistant to the Commander-in-Chief of the Haitian Armed Forces (FAd'H), Major General Jean Jonas, and the Assistant to the Chief of Staff G3, Colonel Neocles P. Arne, officially welcomed the 140 soldiers returning from Mexico.

It should be recalled that these soldiers left Haiti in July 2025. https://www.haitilibre.com/article-45408-haiti-securite-le-premier-contingent-des-fad-h-en-route-pour-le-mexique.html to follow, in Mexico, an intensive training program provided by the Mexican army https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-45408-haiti-security-the-first-contingent-of-the-fad-h-on-its-way-to-mexico.html , as part of a bilateral agreement between the two Nations.

This training aimed to strengthen their operational and strategic capabilities to enable them to actively contribute to the restoration of security throughout the national territory, an essential condition for the success of the priority projects of the transition.
