Dumitrie Fouchard, the Haitian representative for the American airline IBC Air, officially announced in a letter addressed to the Regional Coordinator the launch of the airline's passenger flights from Miami, Florida, to Antoine-Simon International Airport in Les Cayes.

"[...] The inaugural flight is scheduled for Monday, November 10, 2025.

From that date, we will have regular flights on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, arriving at the airport at 9:30 a.m. and departing at 10:30 a.m. [...]"

Regarding the departure lounge at Antoine-Simon International Airport, IBC Air specified "[...] as agreed and authorized, the departure lounge will be temporarily housed in a tent set up for this purpose, pending the construction of the permanent departure lounge at the airport [...]"
