Elections : More than 225 official political parties

More than 225 political organizations have already registered for the elections with the Ministry of Justice. If during the 2015 elections, State aid to political parties and groups amounted to 500 million gourdes, the 2025-2026 budget has an envelope of 3 billion gourdes for the next elections. No public financial subsidy will be allocated to independent candidates.

RAID : 2nd training session

Monday, December 1st, 2025 at the National Police Academy, the opening ceremony of the 2nd training session by the French RAID was held for the benefit of Haitian police officers from the Anti-Gang Tactical Unit (UTAG), SWAT, the Office for the Fight against Drug Trafficking (BLTS) and the Research and Intervention Brigade (BRI). Crucial Franco-Haitian cooperation to support the Haitian National Police (PNH) and strengthen security.

Electoral decree adopted

Hurricane season : Forecasts thwarted

The season was marked by 2 "pause" periods, including one of 22 days at the peak, due to the presence of Sahara sand in the atmosphere. Plaque of honor to the Director of POLIFRONT (video)

The Haitian National Police (PNH) awarded a plaque of honor to Divisional Commissioner Marie Adeline D. Gilles in recognition of her exemplary commitment and leadership as Director of the Border Police (POLIFRONT). This distinction recognizes the remarkable work accomplished under her leadership to strengthen the capacities of this specialized unit, responsible for control and security at the Haitian borders.

Jérémie : Training of political parties

At the initiative of the Haitian Government and the Presidential Transitional Council (CPT), several leaders of political parties from the 14 communes of the Grand'Anse department met at Cascade Night Club, in Jérémie, for two days of workshop as part of the capacity building program for political parties. This workshop aims to better supervise, structure and professionalize political formations throughout the national territory, in order to promote more effective and more responsible participation in future democratic dynamics.
