A Dominican plane hit by bullet in Haiti

A Dominican plane, a single-engine Piper PA-32 registered HI-944 with five passengers on board, which had taken off from Toussaint-Louverture international airport towards Cap-Haitien airport was targeted and hit by a shot between the fuel tank and the left wing. According to available information, the passengers and the pilot, of Dominican nationality, were unhurt.

Strengthen the economic integration of "Madan Sara"

Tuesday, December 16, 2025, a memorandum of understanding was signed between the Ministry of Commerce and Industry and the National Network of "Madan Sara" of Haiti (RANAMSAP), aimed at strengthening the supervision and economic integration of "Madan Sara".

240,000 Haitians repatriated in 11 months according to the RNDDH

Between January and November 2025, more than 240,000 Haitians were repatriated from the Dominican Republic. Among them, there are 982 pregnant women, 2,800 infants, 3,334 unaccompanied minors and 1,242 people with disabilities, according to the annual report presented Tuesday by the Support Group for Returnees and Refugees (GARR).
