Laurent Lamothe, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs has learned that 500 of our compatriots have entered without documents in the Brazilian city of Brasileia, on the border with Bolivia, and 208 to Tabatinga on the border with Peru and Colombia, misled and victims of unscrupulous individuals, after having faced the rigors of the Bolivian forest.

Laurent Lamothe immediately gave instructions to the Haitian diplomatic mission in Brazil, in order to provide his support to these Haitians in difficulty and to ensure they are well treated by the Brazilian authorities.
