PNH : Large-Scale Offensive in Tabarre

On Friday, February 27, 2026, the Haitian National Police (PNH) launched a large-scale offensive against armed gangs in the commune of Tabarre, fatally wounding several terrorists during numerous assaults. Specialized PNH units worked to fill trenches dug by the criminals, who aimed to block the advance of PNH armored vehicles. Searches of buildings in the area led to the discovery of a large cache of Molotov cocktails, which were destroyed on site.

Juventus FC vs Racing CH Postponed

On Friday, February 27, 2026, in press release #18, the Haitian Football League (LHF) announced : "The Competitions Department informs the clubs involved, the press, and the general public that the match between Juventus FC and Racing Club Haïtien, initially scheduled for March 1st, 2026, has been postponed. DR : 35,026 Haitians Deported in January

According to the General Directorate of Migration (DGM), in January 2026, 38,392 Haitians in an irregular immigration situation were apprehended and 35,026 were deported. The total number of Haitians deported in 2025 reached 379,553, apprehended during 6,535 migration control operations coordinated by the Dominican Armed Forces and the Dominican National Police (PND). The main repatriations to Haiti were carried out through the border crossings of Dajabón, Elías Piña, Jimaní, and Pedernales.

Artibonite : Successful Rice Transplanting

The farmers participating in the REPONSE project in Artibonite successfully completed rice transplanting in February.
