Following recent military developments in the region due to the US attack on Iran and Iranian counterattacks on US bases in the Middle East, the Embassy of Haiti in Qatar wishes to reiterate to its citizens residing in Qatar and the region the essential guidelines for ensuring their safety. It urges each member of the community to adopt the following practices:

Increased Vigilance : Remain attentive to developments in the regional context.

Official Sources Only : Rely exclusively on communications from the Qatari government and the Embassy.

Compliance with Local Guidelines : Strictly adhere to the security directives issued by local authorities, particularly the shelter in place (stay indoors) directive.

Travel Documents : Ensure that your identity and residency documents are readily available.

Reporting : Contact the appropriate services immediately in case of an unusual situation.

Emergency and Assistance Numbers :

General emergencies (police, ambulance, fire department): Dial 999.

Haitian Consular Assistance : Contact the Embassy at +974 31 33 22 15.

The Embassy of Haiti reaffirms its full commitment to the community and continues to monitor the situation in close collaboration with the host authorities.
