Haitian Chef Carline Irantus inducted into the Culinary Academy of France

The Network of Haitian Women Role Models and Inspirers (REFEHMI) congratulates Haitian Chef Carline Irantus on her outstanding career and her significant influence in the world of global gastronomy.

A leading figure in contemporary Haitian cuisine in Europe, Chef Carline Irantus stands out as the only Haitian woman to have received such a remarkable number of medals, awards, and international inductions in this field of excellence.

In 2026, for the second time, Chef Carline Irantus was formally inducted, alongside more than twenty chefs from various nations, into the prestigious Académie Culinaire de France, one of the most respected institutions in international gastronomy.

Our Ambassador of Haitian Gastronomy has also been elevated to the rank of Auditor, thus confirming the international recognition of her talent, commitment, and contribution to the promotion of Haitian culinary culture.

With this international recognition, Chef Carline Irantus honors the Haitian nation and brilliantly embodies the creative genius, resilience, and dignity of Haitian women, whose talent and determination continue to shine far beyond Haiti's borders.
