Public Holiday

With reference to the Decree of December 11, 2024, specifically Articles 1 and 2, which define public holidays in addition to National Holidays, the General Secretariat of the Presidency wishes to inform public and private sector employees that public administration, commerce, industry, and schools will be closed on Friday, April 3rd, 2026, throughout the entire national territory for Easter.

Diphtheria : Ministry of Health Raises the Alarm

The Ministry of Public Health and Population (MSPP) is raising the alarm after the return of diphtheria to Haiti. Of 72 suspected cases recorded, 60 have been confirmed, with at least one case identified in each department. The disease manifests itself primarily through respiratory difficulties, sore throat, fever, and intense fatigue. The Ministry of Public Health and Population (MSPP) has launched the distribution of vaccines and medications in various departments to contain the spread and is also urging the population to get vaccinated and remain vigilant to curb the resurgence of this preventable disease.

World Cup : 2 More Friendly Matches
