On Tuesday, April 2nd, Marc Elie Nelson, the Minister of Social Affairs and Labor, published the list of new public transportation fares across the country to reflect rising fuel costs.

Press Release #9 :

"Having regard to Press Release No. 8 from the Ministry of Social Affairs and Labor dated November 16, 2022, setting public transportation fares.

Having regard to Joint Notice 25-26/001 from the Ministries of Economy and Finance, Commerce, and Industry setting the prices of petroleum products in effect throughout the country as of April 2nd, 2026 https://www.icihaiti.com/en/news-47194-flash-new-fuel-prices-in-haiti.html ;

Considering that public transport fares should be adjusted in line with the new fuel prices ;

Taking into account the terms and percentage adjustment of fuel prices at the pump; namely, 29% for gasoline and 37% for diesel.

The prices for the various public transportation routes across the country are now set as follows :
