USA : A Haitian savagely kills an innocent mother with a hammer

Tuesday, April 7, 2026, the United States Department of Homeland Security (DHS) announced that Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) assisted the Fort Myers Police Department (FMPD) in locating and arresting Rolbert Joachim, a Haitian in an irregular migratory situation, subject to a final deportation order dating from 2022, accused of having killed an innocent mother with a hammer, striking her several times in the head, in a Florida gas station.

Let's remember that on April 3rd, the FMPD responded to an emergency at a local gas station. CCTV footage showed Joachim smashed the windshield of the victim's car, approached her and repeatedly hit her on the head with a hammer, killing her in broad daylight.

The Fort Myers Police Department (FMPD) requested assistance from ICE Immigration and Customs Enforcement, and together they located the illegal Haitian immigrant on Mango Street in Fort Myers.

Should be noted that Joachim first entered the United States in August 2022 and was allowed entry under the Biden administration. A federal judge issued a final deportation order against him in 2022, but the Biden administration granted him Temporary Protected Status (TPS) which expired in 2024.

"This illegal alien barbarically hit this woman in the head multiple times with a hammer. This heinous murderer was RELEASED into the country by the Biden administration. Not only did the Biden administration release him into the country, but they then gave him Temporary Protected Status. Their reckless immigration policies cost this woman her life," said Acting Assistant Secretary Lauren Bis.

ICE has issued a detention notice for Joachim, and he will be deported regardless of the verdict.
