FC Juventus and Violette AC played to a draw at Land des Gabions. Juventus goal : Kerby Amazan opened the scoring in the 35th minute [1-0]. Violette AC equalized in the second half with Daison Norestant in the 55th minute [1-1].

- América FC vs Don Bosco FC [2-0]

América FC delivered a strong performance at home at Land des Gabions thanks to goals from Ernst Clerge in the 16th minute [1-0] and Josué Cheriné in the 68th minute [2-0].

TPS : Arguments at the Supreme Court on April 29

On Wednesday, April 29, 2026, the United States Supreme Court is scheduled to hear crucial arguments regarding the continuation of Temporary Protected Status (TPS) granted to Haitian and Syrian nationals in two cases challenging decisions by the Trump administration. The justices will consider appeals in the cases concerning the power of lower courts to suspend government administrative measures that terminate TPS.

USA Press Gala : Statement from PM Fils-Aimé

Following an attempted attack at the Press Gala in Washington, Prime Minister Fils-Aimé stated, "I learned with astonishment of the attempted attack against President Donald Trump. I am relieved that he escaped unharmed. I strongly condemn this use of violence for political ends and would like to offer the full support of the Haitian government to President Trump and the American people. Note that, apart from Trump, who believes he was the target of the attacker, no confirmation from investigators has yet corroborated this hypothesis."

Professional Haitian Artists : Call for Applications

The Greater La Rochelle Area Council and the City of La Rochelle, in partnership with the Haitian Embassy in France and the French Institute of Haiti, are launching a call for applications for the "Haiti–La Rochelle" creative residency. This call is open to professional artists of Haitian nationality residing in Haiti, with a writing project in any field. The residency will take place in La Rochelle, and applications are open until May 31, 2026. Haitian table tennis player Donika Saint Fleur qualifies for the 3rd time

Haitian sport continues to shine on the regional stage, driven by emerging talents whose determination and discipline inspire admiration. In this dynamic context, Haitian table tennis player Donika Saint Fleur has just written another page in the history of national table tennis by securing his qualification, for the third consecutive time, for the Central American and Caribbean Games, following the qualifying rounds held in Santo Domingo. These Games, scheduled from July 24 to August 8 of this year, will take place in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic.

Inflation at 20.6%, down for 5 months

According to data from the Haitian Institute of Statistics and Informatics (IHSI), the Consumer Price Index (CPI), with a base of 100 in 2017-2018, reached 590.6 in March 2026, after standing at 585.7 in February. This represents a steady monthly increase of 0.8%, similar to that of the previous month, and an annual increase of 20.6% in March 2026, lower than the 22.1% recorded in February. Since October 2025, the Haitian market has therefore experienced disinflation for five consecutive months.
