Sunrise Airways : Cap-Haitien / Santo Domingo Route

Sunrise Airways has announced the official opening of reservations for its new daily service between Cap-Haïtien and Santo Domingo. Flights departing Cap-Haïtien will take off daily at 5:30 p.m., arriving in Santo Domingo at 6:15 p.m. In the opposite direction, flights will depart Santo Domingo at 7:45 a.m. and land in Cap-Haïtien at 8:30 a.m. Travelers can make reservations on the Sunrise Airways website, via the official mobile app, at the airline's sales offices, or through partner travel agencies.

1.5 Million Displaced Persons

Nearly 1.5 million people are currently displaced in Haiti, according to the latest report from the International Organization for Migration (IOM). More than half are women and girls, reflecting a worsening humanitarian crisis fueled by escalating violence, forcing entire families to flee their homes in both urban and rural areas. The record number recorded by IOM’s Displacement Tracking Matrix (DTM) reflects a rapidly deteriorating humanitarian crisis marked by successive waves of displacement: more than 18,000 people were forced to flee their homes following the resurgence of violence in Cité Soleil in May.

AGD : Seizure of Drones and a Large Quantity of Ammunition

In May, agents from the General Customs Administration's (AGD) surveillance directorate seized, among other things, three drones, a large quantity of ammunition, several communication radios, bulletproof vests, and items whose sale is prohibited within the national territory.

Two Soldiers Dismissed from the FAd’H
