The 60th Congress of the Haitian Medical Association (AMH) will be held at the Hotel Montana, 4, 5 and 6 June 2012 on the theme of "Challenges, Issues and Perspectives of the Medical Practice in Haiti."

This Congress that will bring together the medical and paramedical corps, resident physicians, medical students and other health professionals, will allow to address among others, during discussion, debate and sharing of experiences : the quality of medical services; accessibility to health care; working conditions; telemedicine; the Haitian Center of Investigation and of Advanced Infertility Treatment (CHITAI)...

At the end of the Congress, participants (panelists) have promised to publish recommendations, in order to improve the services offered to the population and the working conditions of health professionals. According to the AMH, these recommendations will serve as a reference to the Ministry of Public Health and Population (MSPP) to improve the quality of care for Haitians.
