Yesterday, Wednesday, in the gardens of the National Palace, on the eve of the opening of the 18th edition of "Livres en folie", the President Martelly, accompanied by his wife Sophia Martelly, the Prime Minister Laurent Lamothe, members of government , officials and dozens of writers, poets, novelists and playwrights, has congratulate the initiators of Livres en Folie [Le Nouvelliste and Unibank] that he he presented as an "example of what the national enterprises can do to promote our culture" before giving them a plaque of honor and merit for such an initiative.

In his remarkable speech, the President Martelly delivered a moving tribute to Odette Roy Fombrun, Frankétienne, Georges Corvington, Anthony Phelps, Georges Castera, Paulette Poujol-Oriol as well as Georges Anglade have also been posthumously honored during the ceremony held in the gardens of the National Palace.
