The Prime Minister, Laurent Lamothe, has learned with deep emotion the serious accident occurred, Monday, June 18, 2012, in the Department of Grande Anse at the Glace River in flood, near the town of Duchity (Municipality of Pestel) where a bus "Sweet Love" ensuring the route Port-au-Prince/Jérémie trying to cross the river.

Faced with this new drama, which saddens the country, especially the Department of Grande Anse, the Prime Minister sends his condolences to the entire population of Grande Anse as well as the expression of the deepest sympathy of the dministration Martelly-Lamothe to the families of victims and survivors.

The Head of Government, while deploring the irresponsible behavior of our drivers on the national roads, renews its commitment to work to the welfare of the population. The Prime Minister, calls everyone to exercise caution and is committed to take appropriate steps together with the relevant authorities to ensure the safety of our citizens using public roads.
