Réginald Paul, the Minister of Education and Vocational Training has proceeded Tuesday to the installation of Ms. Myrtho René Cinéas, new coordinator at the head of National Program of School Canteens (PNCS). Ms. Myrtho René Cinéas replaces Ms. Patricia Martin, who spent 9 months in office.

The Minister of Education stressed "[...] we need to stand out gradually of this idea of solely provide food to schools. There is the promotion of national production to be done, there is the promotion of our peasants to do, our peasants, who really wish that their products are consumed [...]"

Recall that the National School Feeding Programme (PNCS) was launched in 1997 under the regime Préval. The PNCS was intended to be a direct support from the State for children in fundamental schools in order to solve their problems of health and nutrition or at least reduce it.
