Haiti - Sports : The Haitian Tennis team, admitted in Group II, of the Davis Cup

The Prime Minister, Laurent Lamothe, on behalf of the Government of the Republic of Haiti, welcomes with great satisfaction the return of the Haitian Tennis team in Group II, of the American zone in the Davis Cup. This qualification will enable our young tennis players, to defend the two-color next season, is a great opportunity for the Haitian tennis to stand on the international stage, after having participated in the tournament of Central America and of the Caribbean in Trinidad Tobago where they finished in second place.

Once again, the Head of Government presents its compliments to the athletes : Iphton Louis (captain), Olivier Sajous (number 1), Austin Gonzales (number 2), Joël Allen, specialist in dual (number 3), Johann Coles (number 4), who bravely represented Haiti.

The Prime Minister believes that the top athletes, are true ambassadors for the country abroad and, therefore, they deserve the honors and the considerations of the motherland.
