More than 300 candidates took part in the competition for obtaining scholarship in China. 6 youth, 2 girls and 4 boys [Étienne Wilson, Fanorah Duval, Jean Stéphane, Ludwig Élie, Pierre Roolmich et Vicnie Léandre] who are the lucky recipients of these scholarships, will leave Haiti for China, at the end of August, accompanied by the authorities of the Office of communal development of China in Haiti.

These six young people will continue their education for 5 years in various major Chinese Universities depending on the selected courses among others to the "Fujian Medical University", to the Maritime University of Dalian, to the University of Economics and Finance of Shanghai and to the Hefei University of Technology, in order to acquire new knowledge and skills in order to play an important role in the development and reconstruction of Haiti after their return.
