Haiti - Telecommunication : Technical Difficulties at Digicel

Digicel recognizes that customers have been affected by the recent technical difficulties on its network [place and receive calls same for sending and receiving text messages (SMS)] and wants to present them its sincere apologies for the inconvenience caused, while ensuring them that it work tirelessly to resolve all the problems as quickly as possible.

Digicel explains that these problems are caused by the current update works of the network as well as the final phase of integration of network Voilà.

Damian Blackburn, CEO of Digicel declared "Our engineers work tirelessly to ensure that the integration and network upgrades are completed in the shortest possible time while minimizing the inconvenience caused to customers [...] I want to reassure our customers that the completion of the network update is expected soon thereafter Digicel customers will be able to take advantage of fantastic benefits an even broader coverage as well as a mobile Internet service on the ultra-fast 4G network of Digicel."
