Sunday, in celebration Christmas, U.S. Ambassador to Haiti, Pamela White, will accommodate approximately 200 children from various orphanages identified by the U.S. Embassy employees in Port-au-Prince. This includes Rosa Mina, Sens Universal, and Solidarité Mondiale pour le Développement Social (SMDS orphanages).

Every year around the world, the U.S. Marine Corps leads the "Toys for Tots" Program. Every October, they collect new, unwrapped toys from U.S.G. employees and distribute the toys as Christmas gifts to less fortunate children.

The "Toys for Tots" programs aims to inspire hope and happiness to vulnerable children and encourage them to become responsible, productive and engaged with their communities.
