Saturday, Régine Godefroy, Director General of the Post Office in Haiti (OPH), met factors, drivers, brigadiers and security officers of all post offices of the metropolitan area, on the courtyard of the sorting center of the SONAPI.

While reiterating her determination to recover the administrative structure, logistical and financial of the OPH, the Director took the opportunity to reiterate the importance of the function assigned to each of the employees, the need to work with professionalism, seriousness and the urgent need to provide to the Haitian population a service of quality, for enhancing the image of our state institutions.

At this meeting, she reminded to the employees the commitment shown by the Government Martelly-Lamothe to establish gender equity in public administration, in this sense, Ms. Godfrey asked the oldest factors of accompany and train women newly integrated in the service of factor within the institution. "We want to create a brand image, restore the confidence of clients who receive the factors at home, and make reliable the mail processing service to the benefit of customer."

This meeting was an opportunity for the Director to remind to its employees that a program of incentive bonus" was introduced for the actors and tellers of the institution for theend of year period, in order to offer to all the opportunity to increase their income and facilitate their family obligations as part of the holiday season.

In addition, employees warmly acclaimed the announcement reiterated by Ms. Godfrey, of the integration of staff of the Office of Post to the health insurance to the Office of Workers' Compensation Insurance, Sickness and Maternity (OFATMA), which will be fully supported by the institution from January 2013.

On the sidelines of this meeting, raincoats, boots and sun lamps were distributed to all employees present to help them to better accomplish their mission especially during bad weather. This distribution is the first of a serie, that will be done across the country, and that will benefit all factors, drivers, security and brigadiers, employees at the Post Office of Haiti.
