Haiti - Social : A poem, a song, to remember...

"To commemorate this day of remembrance, 3 years after the earthquake that has hit hard our country, HaitiLibre chose to let them express themselves :

Hansy Marcelin, a Haitian father, living in New York, whose little girl of 7 years, was killed like so many others... January 12, 2010 at 4:53 pm by 'Goudougoudou', whose the poetry, three years later translated yet, the feelings that haunts him...

And the Haitian singer Joël Lorquet with his song 'Pitye pou Ayiti, Papa' written Sunday, January 17, 2010, less than a week after the tragedy, whose words put in images, can not leave anyone indifferent and leads to meditation and remembrance.

HaitiLibre joins in the communion, to the prayers of all our brothers and sisters, so that those who are no longer with us today, know that we will never forget them and that they will live forever in our hearts."

"35 secondes" : Poem of Hansy Marcelin

Laissant larmes, douleurs insupportables

Sur son passage hideux et indésirable

Comme un véritable coup de maitre

De ces dieux malins obstruant notre être.

Trente cinq secondes de colère

La vie est devenue secondaire !

La mort dans toute sa puissance

Ignorant les vertus de l'innocence

Change soudainement ma fortune.

La seconde la plus opportune.

La réalité dans ses caprices arbitraires

Égarée dans l'aire de mon imaginaire

Inflige un malheur sans vocabulaire

Rongeant mon existence précaire .

Trente cinq secondes goudou-goudou

Toute une nation mise à genoux

Incapable, mais toujours à l'attente

Sa beauté rougit sous les tentes.

Tout en trente cinq secondes ..

Text of the song : "Pitye pou Ayiti, Papaé

- 1 -

"Douz janvye lane de mil dis

S’on dat nou pape janm bliye.

Kèlke segond latè tranble,

Epi se dèy dezolasyon.

Yon pakèt kay te efondre,

Jou sa-a de san mil moun mouri,

Sa ki te rich vin tounen pòv,

Yo blige dòmi nan lari.

REFREN

Pitye pou Ayiti Papa!

Pitye pou peyi nou!

Pou nou sispan konte kadav,

Pou Ayisyen sispann kriye,

Pou Ayiti ka pwogrese

Tankou sa fèt nan lòt peyi.

- 2 -

Peyi nou konn gen koudeta

Nou pase pre lagè sivil

Nou pran siklòn, inondasyon

Kounyè-a se tranbleman d’tè

Bondye, pouki tout tan se nou?

Nou konnen nou fè sak pa bon

Eske se yon malediksyon?

Se pou sa nap mandew padon.

REFREN

Padon pou Ayiti Papa!"
