The Directorate General of Electricity of Haiti (EDH) informs its customers and the general population, that the rehabilitation work that began in the sub-station Canapé-Vert during the last year, continue with the construction of an aerial bar for the connection of the second transformer of 25 MVA.

20 MVA to 50 MVA, to better meet the expectations of the population.

Consequently, the EDH wishes to inform the residents of Kenscoff, Laboule, Thomassin, Pèlerin, Centre de Pétion-Ville, Péguy-Ville, Route de Frères, Belvil, Vivy Mitchell, Canapé-Vert, Bois Verna, Nerette, Jalousie, Marlique, and Meyotte, that a power cut is scheduled Saturday, February 2, 2013 from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm

These works that will end in March 2013, is part of the Action Plan 2012-2013 of the EDH which makes the rehabilitation, modernization and maintenance of circuits, of substations and power plants its main priority.

The EDH rely on the patience and collaboration of the population, in order to arrive together on the way of development.
