Haiti - NOTICE : U.S. Consular Section, appointments postponed

The Consular Section of the U.S. Embassy in Port-au-Prince has rescheduled nonimmigrant visa appointments from February 11, 12, and 13 due to Carnival.

All those having obtained a confirmed appointment for the 11, 12 and 13 February 2013 will have to be present according to the following schedule at the same time previously set :

  • Those with confirmed appointments for February 11 should come for their interviews on February 21.

  • Those with confirmed appointments for February 12 should come for their interviews on February 22.

  • Those with confirmed appointments for February 13 should come for their interviews on February 20.

Please bring your original confirmation page to the interview. The Consular Section will not admit anyone with appointments for February 11, 12, and 13 other than at their new confirmed appointment time. Applicants who arrive at the Consular Section outside of their new appointment time without confirmation will not be admitted.

If your situation is urgent or you are unable to come for your rescheduled appointment, please write PaPNIV@state.gov and explain the nature of your emergency.
