The Consulate of the Republic of Haiti in Orlando informs the Haitian Community of its Jurisdiction and that of Florida in particular, that in partnership with HPC (Professional Health Choice), a public assistance program will be offered to the members of the Haitian Community in Orlando starting on March 5th 2013.

This program will take place at the Consulate every First 1st and 3rd Tuesday of every month. Members of the Professional Health Choice will be present during these times to help anyone who wishes to apply, recertify or resubmit an application for the following benefits:

• Medicaid (Low or no cost Health Care) ;

• Food Stamps (Food assistance) ;

• Cash assistance ;

• Medicare savings program (Part B Medicare premium deductions paid for by Medicaid/State of Florida) ;

• Extra Help with Medicare prescription drug plan cost ;

• APD (Agency for person with disabilities) ;

• WIC ;

• LIHEAP (Low income home energy assistance program)
