Haiti - Social : Launch of 3 social programs in Obléon-Furcy 04/03/2013 08:50:59
Friday, 3 components of the National Social Assistance Programme "Ede pèp" : "Ti Manman Chéri" ; "Kantin Mobil" et "Panye Solidarite" were launched in Obléon-Furcy, in the municipality of Kenscoff in favor of the most vulnerable families in this area, in the presence of Rose Anne Auguste, the Minister Delegate in Charge of Human Rights and the Fight against Poverty and Carlah J. Clesca, Mayor of Kenscoff. During this intervention, 400 mothers were able to integrate the operation of cash transfer "Ti Manman Chéri" through the National School Furcy and Orchidée School. On this occasion, 500 meals were also distributed under the component mobile canteens and 600 baskets of solidarity granted to mothers and other beneficiaries present at the event. The various beneficiaries of these 3 programs, warmly welcomed the Government's intervention.
The Office of the Minister Rose Anne Auguste recalled his involvement alongside several other state bodies, in the effective coordination of different components of Program "Ede pèp" aimed at improving living conditions of thousands of Haitian families living below the poverty line by providing responses to the urgent needs expressed by the population. Adding that the concern of duty fulfilled and responsibilities, continuously orient the actions of the Administration Martelly-Lamothe, in order to satisfy the basic needs of the population in the most disadvantaged social strata.
