After visiting Aruba on 14 and 15 March, the Communication Office of the Primature inform the general public that the Prime Minister Laurent Lamothe as part of his tour in the Caribbean region met this Saturday, March 16, 2013, in Turks and Caicos, the Governor Ric Todd in order to discuss of cooperative relations between the two countries, particularly in the fields of education, tourism and trade.

During the meeting, the Prime Minister Lamothe which has focused on the investments of the Administration Martelly-Lamothe to encourage the revival of agricultural production in Haiti, he said see in the Turks and Caicos, an important market where Haitian farmers can export their products (yams, bananas, coffee, Ritz etc...)

The Head of Government of Haiti must meet this afternoon, his counterpart Dr. Rufus. W. Erwing in order to deepen the perspectives of cooperation between Haiti and the Turks and Caicos.
