The Ministry of Haitians Living Abroad (MHAVE), together with the Haitian Federation of Amateur Athletics (FHAA), organizes the 2nd edition of the annual marathon, as part of activities to commemorate the National Day of the Diaspora (JND) April 20, 2013.

This marathon will conclude all events that will be carried around the JND from 17 to 21 April 2013.

Three age groups can participate in this marathon whose the departure will be given to the intersection of the Road of Frères / Boulevard 15 octobre, to arrive at Sylvio Cator stadium through carrefour Fleuriot, Airport Road, Nazon, Lalue, Champs de Mars etc...

Categories:

• 21 km : from 24 years

• 10 km : between 20 and 23 years

• 5 km : between 17 and 19 years

Registrations are open and will end on April 12. Among other required documents, a medical certificate is required upon registration of the athlete. Academics, clubs, Haitian associations of Haiti and abroad and others are invited to participate in various races.

Place of registration: MHAVE, 8, Rue Prosper, Musseau, Petion-ville, near the former primature, to the Haitian Federation of Amateur Athletics (FHAA).
