Haiti - Politic : Small cabinet reshuffle

The Communication Office of the Primature inform the General Public that before the resignation of two ministers of Government, Marie-Carmelle Jean-Marie, of Finances mardi Tuesday evening https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-8311-haiti-politic-the-minister-of-economy-and-finance-resigns-letter.html and Régine Godefroy, of Communications yesterday Thursday https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-8320-haiti-politic-a-second-minister-resigns.html ; the Prime Minister Laurent Lamothe approved by decree by the President of the Republic Michel Martelly, has decided as follows :

The Citizen Wilson Laleau was appointed Minister of Economy and Finance.

Other provisions :

a) The new Minister of Economy and Finance Mr. Wilson Laleau will also hold until further notice the function of acting Minister of Trade and Industry ;

b) The Minister of Culture, Mrs. Josette Darguste will hold until further notice the function of acting Minister of Communications.

In addition, the Communication Office of the Primature that reiterates the commitment of the Administration Martelly-Lamothe to work for the benefit of the population, remember that all other Ministers and Secretaries of States remain at their posts.
