Haiti - Social : Installation of Committee of the 350th anniversary of Petit-Goâve (1663-2013)
Wednesday took place the installation by the Municipality of Petit-Goâve of committee of the 350th anniversary of Petit-Goâve (1663-2013), the ceremony was attended by the members of society and various sectors. The Mayor of Petit-Goâve, Sandra Jules has proceeded with the installation of the committee, which consists of :
The deputy Stevenson Thimoleon, Honorary President ; the Mayor Sandra Jules, Honorary President ; Jacques Philippe Eugene, President ; Dr Camille Archange, Secretary General ; Mathieu Guyto, Deputy Secretary General and Constael Adrien, Treasurer.
Assisted by various commissions, this committee was created for the sole purpose of helping the Town Hall of Petit-Goâve to better prepare, plan and succeed the festivities commemorating the 350th anniversary of the town of Petit-Goâve (1663-2013 ; 350 years).
It has the specific functions: to offer visitors during the various celebrations what Petit Goâve has of better on the artistic, cultural, historical and tourist plan ; develop projects adapted to the needs of the community ; to prepare the program schedule of activities to be performed until 31 December 2013 ; makes of the 350th a factor of social cohesion by bringing together all Petit-Goâviens, those of the interior as well as those in the diaspora around the same table and allow the city to benefit economically from its 350 years.
The Mayor Sandra Jules and the President Eugene jointly launched a call for the collaboration of all Petit-Goâviens for the success of activities in the framework of the commemoration of the 350th anniversary of the City Soulouquoise.
