Haiti - Social : World Bank gives $90 million

This Friday, Wilson Laleau, Minister of Economy and Finance and Mr. Alexandre Abrantes Special Envoy of the World Bank in Haiti, will sign two agreement protocols for donations totaling 90 million U.S. dollars. The first agreement of $70 million, relates to the financing of a Project to improve maternal and child health through integrated social services and aims to reach about 1.8 million women and children. The second agreement of $20 million concerns the improvement of the business climate, through a Development Project of Business and Investments in order to attract private investment, generate economic growth and create jobs.
