Haiti - Politic : Cabinet reshuffle, not on the agenda... 24/06/2013 09:22:38
Friday at Club Indigo, ended the 2-days retreat of members of pro-government majority bloc "Parliamentarians for Stability and Progress" (PSP). 56 56 deputies, 3 senators and several senior government officials have participated in this retreat to discuss major issues of the day, under the supervision of Ralph Théano, the Minister for Relations with Parliament. On Friday, President Michel Martelly and Prime Minister Laurent Lamothe, were the guests of honor. During these two days, it was among other question : of the crisis of poultry products, of upcoming elections which should take place by the end of the year, the State budget 2013-2014, which should be submitted to Parliament soon and the agenda of the second ordinary session of the third legislative year, which began on June 10, 2013. In this regard, the Deputy Jacques Stevenson Thimoléon, President of PSP, announced that the law on transnational fraud [money laundering and financing of terrorism] should be passed, Tuesday, June 25... Furthermore, wanting to end the rumors circulating, the Minister Théano wished to clarify that the question of a cabinet reshuffle was not on the agenda of this retreat. See also : HL/ S/ HaitiLibre
