As part of the Haitian-Venezuelan cooperation, the President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro is expected this Tuesday, June 25, 2013 in Haiti, for his first official visit to the country since taking office on 19 April 2013.

Upon arrival at the Toussaint Louverture International Airport, President Maduro who will be accompanied by the First Lady of Venezuela, Ms. Cilia Flores, and several ministers of his government, will be welcomed by President Michel Martelly and his wife, the First Lady of the Republic, Sophia Martelly, Prime Minister Laurent Lamothe, the Ambassador of Venezuela to Haiti, Pedro Antonio Canino and members of the Government.

The agenda of this visit includes, among others, a private audience between the two heads of state and a bilateral meeting on cooperation projects implemented and/or n progress, under the Petrocaribe program in the social sectors and infrastructure.
