The Directorate General of Electricity of Haiti (EDH) announces to its customers in particular and to the general population, that a power outage is scheduled, Saturday, July 27, 2013, from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm in Downtown Port-au-Prince and on the Communes of Pétion-Ville, Kenscoff, Carrefour, Gressier and of Léogane, to name a few.

Indeed, the activities of pruning to the Street Monseigneur Guilloux, in the vicinity of the substation of Rivière Froide, in Bois Verna, to the Street Ducoste, Street Piquant, and the replacement of a concrete pole at the Rue Saint Honoré, are planned in order to make more reliable and protect the 69 KV transmission lines.

The EDH relies on the cooperation and understanding of the population so that these works are performed in the best conditions and in a timely manner.
