Haiti - Social : Note for the Haitian community living in Mexico

The Embassy of the Republic of Haiti in Mexico informs the Haitian community living in Mexico, that the Mexican migration authorities wish to regularize the situation of Haitians who had received humanitarian visas (Protección Internacional / Razones Humanitarias) following the earthquake of January 12 2010.

The Mission informs the persons concerned that they are expected in its premises with :

1. Their residence permit: FM3 (Protección Internacional Razones Humanitarias) ;

2. Copy of the first page of their passport;

3. 4 color photographs Format: 3 x 2.5cm (Infantil);

4. All other documents proving that they belong to the category "Protección Internacional / Razones Humanitarias."

The Mexican Immigration Service will decide according to its criteria, of the eligibility of type of immigration status to be granted.

To get to the Embassy from the "Auditorio Metro or Metro Chapultepec," you either take bus indicating Bosques de las Lomas or Lomas de Chapultepec or KM13, or off the bus just in front of the Lutheran Church in Palmas Street.

Opening hours are Monday to Friday from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm
