Haiti - Security : Users of the National #2 launch SOS to police

Early this Monday, September 16, gunmen who call themselves "rebels", blocked once again, the National road #2 at the level of Marose, a locality of Petit-Goâve. They broke windshields and slashed the tires of some vehicles intercepted and carried the keys of some drivers.

On a board installed near the road, we read the following : "Mr. Deputy, for very long, you told us to wait, we have enough. Now we raise."

A unit of the police, accompanied by soldiers of the Minustah from Miragoâne, trying to release the street.

According to the testimony of an inhabitant of Marose, there were exchanges of gunfire on the night of September 15 to 16, between a police patrol and members of the "baz san mil a le". There would be several victims in the camp of bandits.
