Haiti - Economy : Wilson Laleau talking about investments with South Korea

On Monday, as part of the preparation of a strategy report on the promotion of industrial investment between South Korea, Latin America and the Caribbean, Wilson Laleau, the Minister of Commerce and Industry (MCI) met Kang Sung-zu, the Executive Director of the Korean Council for Latin America and the Caribbean.

The Minister Laleau took advantage of this visit to introduce the project of Micro Industrial Parks of MCI, which aims to build 42 micro parks nationwide, saying it would be an important field of Korean investment, for the equipment os these infrastructures.

Mr. Kang announced that a delegation of experts will come to Haiti this October to explore investment opportunities for Korean companies in the country.

The Minister Laleau, expressed his eagerness to welcome this delegation of exploration and assured that his office will remain in contact with the Honorary Consul General of the Republic of Korea in Haiti, George A. Mangonès, to prepare the agenda of meetings that will involve many private sector actors from different regions of Haiti.
