Order to continue its support work for young Haitians and in the tradition of Mobile Vocational Training Centre (CFPM) created in 2010 "Foi et Joie Haïti" is about to launch an International Catering School.

The courses will start on mid-October.

The branches available are: international cuisine, the "housekeeping" (accommodation) and the bar-restaurant. Students in international cuisine and bar-restaurant will for three months have common courses like IT or food hygiene. Additionally, students will attend seminars especially around entrepreneurship.

After a 9-month training, the beneficiaries will receive a Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC) issued by the State. In parallel, the CFPM will continue to train young people in various disciplines including home cooking and other formations also leading to State diplomas.

This International Catering School will meet growing demand for qualified staff for the tourism market, which has experienced in recent years encouraging signs, particularly in terms of increase in hotel rooms.
