Thursday, Guy Didier Hyppolite, the Minister of Tourism and Creative Industries, anxious to defend the interests of the Haitian community both in Haiti and abroad, met with representatives of the regional office of American Airlines.

The Minister, accompanied by representatives of the Consulate of Haiti in Miami, the Consul General Mr. Gandy Thomas, the Consul Guy François and the President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry Haitiano-American, Jeff Lozama, pleaded for cancellation of newly imposed baggage fees to Haitian travelers to Haiti. For Guy Didier Hyppolite, visitors traveling to Haiti to visit their relatives, go sightseeing or work should enjoy the same advantages that travelers from other countries in the region."

The Minister is committed to educate all operators serving Haiti to participate in the promotion and enhancement of the destination and provide quality service. He took the opportunity to sensitize American Airlines on the need to actively participate in sustainable development Post-Matthew.
