Haiti - Tourism : Minister Menos meets the diaspora in Miami

Friday in Florida, Colombe Emilie Jessy Menos the Minister of Tourism, accompanied by the Chief of Staff of President Wilson Laleau, met with members of the Haitian community of Miami around the possibilities of investments in the tourism sector in Haiti.

Minister Menos presented an inventory of the tourist sector in Haiti, the strategic choices on the agenda in order to capitalize on the potential for investment in this sector. She discussed the strategies for action for the coming months that should focus on the development of MEGA amusement parks and entertainment. hese actions should, among other things, help a strategic repositioning of the destination Haiti and make Tourism the engine of economic development...

This meeting of Minister Menos is the first step in a series of actions aimed at seeking synergy between the Ministry of Tourism, the diaspora and the Haitian population.

Recall that for the Minister the campaign "Zafè touris se zafè tout moun" https://www.icihaiti.com/en/news-21398-icihaiti-tourism-launch-of-the-campaign-zafe-touris-se-zafe-tout-moun.html relies on at least two necessities :

1) A Haitian tourism is above all the business of Haitians to improve the frameworks and living conditions of the population and Haitians are the first tourist-visitors to Haiti.

2) "Zafè touris zafè tout moun" implies that Haitians are the main investors in Haitian tourism.
