Wednesday, Colombe Emilie Jessy Menos, the Minister of Tourism, met, Ricot Pierre-Louis, Jean Ronald Augustin and Mrs. Nirtha Bien-Aimé respectively President and members of the National Commission for Innovation and Socioprofessional Integration of Youth.

The meeting held in the office of the Minister aimed at putting in place conditionalities for the realization of an inventory of the tourist potential of the territories of the Republic. This project will be conducted by the Ministry of Tourism should, in its first phase, make it possible to inventory the tourist potential of the territories of the Republic, by identifying each attraction: natural, historical and cultural, material and / or intangible, to determine its potential through the mode of development, of animation - of tourism products and services that can be attached to them. With this national commission, this meeting should allow the Ministry of Tourism - and the State - to lay down the terms, for the recruitment of the staff necessary for the realization of the inventory and to determine the strategic prospective for the collection of data and the recording of the data on the attractions.

This meeting is part of a series of consultations, with some public institutions, to establish the necessary synergy between the public authorities, in the conduct and success of this project which will allow :

- To share with the Commission officials, the job descriptions and tasks, staff responsible for collecting data on the tourism potential of each communal section of the Republic;

- Create at term, no less than 1100 jobs, young, during the months of July and August, and to identify, all the attractions, natural and historical sites, cultural heritage, assess the potential, the necessary investment and the profitability of the latter ;

- Increase the improvement and transformation of the frameworks and living conditions of the populations of the 576 communal sections of the Republic - starting from the tourist development.
