Haiti - Religion : End of year message of the Protestant Federation of Haiti

In his end-of-year message, Reverend Pastor Sylvain Exantus, President of the Protestant Federation of Haiti (FPH) declared :

Extracts from the FPH message :

The FPH encourages Protestants in particular and all Haitians of all faiths in general, to show generosity, solidarity, stand up against evil and promote the moral values that devote the respect of life [...]

The Protestant Federation of Haiti urges political groups to observe a truce in order to allow the population to fully enjoy the holiday of Christmas which is essentially a celebration of love, peace and sharing and encourages the Government to continue the a frank and sincere dialogue project to reach an agreement on the pending and burning issues of national life and on the other hand to continue in a structural way the social programs likely to relieve the misery of the Haitian people [...]"
