The Rectorate of the State University of Haiti (UEH) hurry to warn the population and future applicants for the 2020-2021 entrance exams, against a note circulating on social networks suggesting that the Gonaïves School of Law and Economics (EDSEG-UEH) has reportedly launched registrations for the 2020-2021 admission competition.

"Even if the note is written on letterhead paper bearing the label State University of Haiti, it cannot be considered as authentic, not being signed by the competent authorities of the School or the Rectorate. Moreover, the UEH registration platform through which any registration to an UEH entity must be carried out, under penalty of invalidity, is not yet open at the Gonaïves Law School.

To date, the competent bodies of the UEH have only authorized two Faculties to carry out registration operations for the 2020-2021 admission exam : the Faculty of Agronomy and Veterinary Medicine (FAMV) and the National Institute of Administration, Management and Higher International Studies (INAGHEI)."

Note that this year, the registration dates for entities under the UEH will be communicated on a case-by-case basis, depending on the coverage rate of the programs of the previous year which had experienced multiple disruptions. All the entities were not able to move forward at the same pace and the Rectorate could not validate training not yet completed in terms of number of hours and content.

"The Rectorate urges the public not to join in the registration operations for the 2020-2021 entrance examination at EDSEG-UEH on the basis of the unofficial note circulating on social networks in an illegal and undue manner. The UEH declines all responsibility with regard to inscriptions for the admission exam made outside the principles it establishes for this purpose."
