The President Michel Martelly is in national tour as part of the week devoted to tourism development. Sunday began in Cap-Haitien, the tour will take him successively to Milot, Côte des Arcadins, Pétionville, Jacmel, Les Cayes, Camp Perrin and Port Salut. On the agenda of the Head of State several meetings with many tourism operators to whom, he will present his vision in terms of regional development are scheduled.

Monday, July 25 : CAP HAITIEN and MILOT

Meeting with the tourism operators and some local authorities. Presentation of the short-term vision : "The development of the North region as a tourist destination."

10h30 am : Departure to Milot

11h00am : Arrival in Milot, cocktail in the gardens of Sans Souci Palace. - Message from the President of the Republic.

1h00 pm : Departure of Milot.

Tuesday, July 26 : CÔTE DES ARCADINS/ PETION-VILLE

5h00 to 7h00 pm

The operators of the Côte des Arcadins receive the President at a cocktail - Presentation of the short-term vision : "The development of the region of the Côte des Arcadins as a tourist destination."

Wednesday, July 27 : PÉTION VILLE

6h00 pm to 8h00 pm Tothe Complexe La Promenade, Pétion- Ville launching of the new edition of the tourist journal : "Magic Haïti", an initiative of the daily "Le Nouvelliste" and of the Association of Tourism of Haiti (ATH) which aims to promote the different tourist areas of the country with visitors already in Haiti (Expatriates, relief workers, diaspora, diplomats, investors, etc...)

Thursday, July 28, South region : JACMEL

8h00 am : Departure to Jacmel - Visit of the airport.

9h00 am : Visit of the tourist wharf at the port of Jacmel - Walking tour of the two potential tourist streets "rues du commerce"

10h00 am : Roundtable with tourism operators. Presentation of the short-term vision : "The development of Jacmel and the surrounding area as a tourist destination."

11h30 am : Cocktail

1h00 pm : Departure of Jacmel.

Saturday, July 30, South region : LES CAYES / CAMP PERRIN/ PORT-SALUT

8h00 am : Departure to Les Cayes

9h00 am : Meeting with local operators to Camp Perrin

Presentation of the short-term vision : "The development of the southern region as a tourist destination" : Les Cayes /Camp Perrin /Port Salut /Ile la Vache

10h30 am : Departure for Port Salut

11h00 am : Inauguration of the tourist center "HOT SPOT" to Port Salut with : Sport - Bar - Game room for kids - Disco outdoor - Restaurant etc...

1h00 pm : departure of Les Cayes.
