Haiti - FLASH : Criteria for admission to scholarships in Technical and Vocational Training of Haiti Tec

During this past weekend, during the Ordinary General Assembly of the bipartite Commission FOLONHA - Haiti Tec, the criteria for admission to the Scholarship Program for Young People in Technical and Vocational Training were developed and adopted by the majority of Members of the team.

Eligibility criteria :

Be of Haitian nationality and be at most 30 years old;

Have obtained a minimum average of 7/10 for the last Bac exam (Rhéto or Philo);

Have no prior university, technical and professional training;

Be a candidate in a difficult socio-economic situation;

Take and pass the Haiti Tec admission test.

Sectors offered by the Technical and Vocational Training Center of Haiti Tec :

Superior techniques in Business (10 months)

Higher techniques of industrial engineering (20 months)

Civil engineering techniques (20 months)

Computer techniques (20 months)

Telecommunications (20 months)

Electrical engineering (20 months)

Solar electricity pv (10 months)

Building mechanics techniques (20 months)

Production, control and quality supervision techniques (20 months)

Women candidates strongly encouraged. Priority given to women at 60% for admission to technical and professional trades in this program.
