With this decision, Cuba treats Haiti the same way Cuba is treated, since Haiti requires a visa for Cuban citizens wishing to travel to Haiti.

Should be noted that Haitians who hold a Schengen visa (European Community), a Canadian or American visa, do not need a Cuban visa to travel to Cuba.

Let's recall that the private Haitian company Sunrise Airways is the only company that offers flights between Port-au-Prince and the cities of Santiago de Cuba and Havana with one flight per week for each destination.
