Montana Accord rejects the Mediation Committee invitation

The Montana Accord Monitoring Office rejected the Mediation Committee's invitation https://www.icihaiti.com/en/news-36561-icihaiti-crisis-mediation-towards-a-resumption-of-dialogue.html to attempt to find a solution to the crisis in Haiti, meeting which was to be held Thursday, May 19 at the Kinam hotel in Pétion-ville.

Crisis : Against the PM's proposal

Prime Minister Ariel Henry transmitted on the evening of May 17 a counter-proposal to the representatives of the Montana accord concerning the modalities of negotiations on the political crisis. This counter-proposal revolves around four axes : security, elections, constitutional reform and social appeasement.
