ULCC investigators charged with vandalism, threats and sabotage

Detainee Assistance Program

Sunday, May 22, the Association of Volunteers for the Reintegration of Detainees in Haiti (AVRED-HAITI) carried out a day of training, distribution of hygiene kits at Cap-Haitien prison. This activity falls within the framework of its assistance program for detainees in the country's various prison establishments. "We firmly believe in improving their living conditions. Being full human beings, they must be treated with respect and dignity, in accordance with the rules of Nelson Mandela signed and ratified by Haiti."

FAES helping displaced families

The Economic and Social Assistance Fund (FAES), requested by the Municipal Commission of Tabarre, came to the aid this week of several hundred families, refugees on the Square of Clercine from the neighborhoods of Butte Boyer, Croix-des-Missions, Santo, etc... fleeing the gang war in the Cul-de-sac plain. More than 1,200 people identified by FAES agents at the end of April have benefited from this aid (hygiene kit, hot meal, etc...)
