Paediatrician Benetty Augustin released

20 days after being kidnapped, pediatrician Benetty Augustin regained her freedom on the night of Tuesday, May 24, 2022. According to information, it would be a release against ransom, the amount of which has not been made public. The PNH recovers a vehicle after exchanges of fire

Tuesday, May 24, the National Police of Haiti (PNH) recovered the vehicle belonging to the Food Import Company on board which was the driver who was kidnapped the same morning, in Marassa. Members of the "400 Mawozo" gang, who were driving this vehicle in the town of Croix-des-Bouquets near Carrefour New York, abandoned it to flee following the exchange of fire with police officers from the Intervention Corps and Maintenance of Order (CIMO).

Clerk strike lifted
